Your baby is growing up! Can you believe it? This age group meets in the gym. We purposely include them in many of the activities with the older kids. It helps them really sense that they are part of a larger community. When you bring your child to the gym they will get signed in and given a number. Please don’t lose this number – it attaches you to your child! After church you will bring us the number, sign your child out and then…get your child! We spend the first few minutes of class playing a game – sometimes it can be loud. But the kids love it! Then we break into age-specific groups for an introduction to the lesson. Then everyone comes together for worship, snacks and a large group teaching! Then back into their small groups for activities that reinforce the lesson and virtue that is being talked about that month. (Every month we talk about a new virtue – for instance in recent months we have talked about honesty, cooperation, compassion and friendship). |

When your kids come home they will be given at least 2 pieces of paper to help you take the lesson “deeper”. They get a piece called “Refrigerator Art” – this goes on your…YES – refrigerator and has discussion questions, Scripture references, etc. As a parent it’s the piece of paper that we need to make us smart! (I need this for 7th grade math – UGH J). They will also get a God-Time Card. This acts as a 4 day devotional with activities, prayers, and guided time to reinforce the virtue.
